My story
Hi, I'm Kristyn Villars. I am a fine art wedding photographer based out of the beautiful Central Coast of California, but will happily travel to wherever your love story takes you. I love to visit and experience new places! Take me with you to photograph your destination wedding and I'll make sure to document the whole experience.
I have always been fascinated with freezing moments in time to inspire emotion. The details, life's little moments, that's where we exist. There's something romantic about being able to document a couple's love story! My style can be described as authentic, candid, and photojournalistic, where I specialize in outdoor wedding photography. Your golden hour photos will be your favorite photos from your wedding day, I promise!
Now, a little about me! I am married to the love of my life-Sanden! I fall more and more in love with him every day! He is the most generous and giving man around who continuously pushes me to follow my dreams. We have two little ones-I didn't think my heart could grow any bigger the day they were born! We have an 80 lb lap dog, named Bristol, who rescued me, she's the black one. The yellow lab in the photos is the crazy one, Lola. She will never grow out of her puppy phase. Coming home to their excitement every day will never get old.
I love making new friends and cannot wait to meet you! Let's get together and get to know each other over a cup of coffee or a nice glass of wine.

Where are you located?
I am located on the amazing Central Coast of California. The wineries and beaches make for beautiful landscapes to shoot weddings. If you're in the area, contact me so we can schedule a shoot or grab a cup of coffee!
Do you travel?
Yes! Absolutely! I love to travel. Don't hesitate to contact me if you're out of the area! If you have a destination wedding, take me with you and I'll document the whole thing.
What is a first look?
This is a moment when the bride and groom see each other for the first time before the ceremony. This is not only one of the most intimate moments of the day, but it also leads to raw emotion and powerful imagery.
Do you work with another photographer?
Yes! All of my packages include a second photographer. This allows me to cover a wider range of shots, while providing different perspectives on key moments.
Do you do engagement sessions?
Yes I do! I would love to be a part of your engagement session and document the story through your wedding.
How do we book with you?
I love to make new friends! Click the button below, fill out the form, and let's get together over coffee. After we review the coverage details, a 50% retainer fee along with a signed contract is required to book your date.
